Nationally recognized economist Sean Snaith will spotlight the emerging economy. Snaith is the Director of the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Economic Competitiveness and a nationally recognized economist in the field of business and economic forecasting. An award-winning forecaster, researcher and professor, Snaith applies academic expertise to solve real-world problems. He is frequently interviewed in national and regional media, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, The Economist and CNN Money.com. He has appeared on CNBC, Fox Business Network, and is the host of “Money Clips With Sean Snaith,” a weekly segment produced by UCF TV.
Following the presentation at 9:00, information will be provided on area business growth in Volusia County, Port Orange and South Daytona. The Small Business Development Center at Daytona State College will give you information on currently available business resources.
